WHAT’S IT FOR?

Given the financial stresses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictive government policies, the Australian government has a released a Mandatory Code of Conduct to bring landlords and tenants together to negotiate their commercial leases in good faith and come to a fair solution.

If you find yourself in a difficult situation with your landlord, a Sprintlaw lawyer can assist you with understanding your entitlements and communicating with your landlord.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We’ll advise you on your rights and assist with communicating with your landlord, in light of the Mandatory Code of Conduct.

This package includes:

  • Initial phone consultation to assess your situation
  • Preparation of a draft email for you to send to your landlord
  • Complimentary phone consultation (up to 30 minutes) to answer any questions you have during your negotiations with the landlord, as long as you request the consultation within 10 business days of us delivering the draft email
