In addition to the National Employment Standards, certain roles in specific industries are also legally protected by a “modern award” which provide minimum pay rates and conditions for that role or industry. As it can be difficult to ensure compliance with the modern award, it is a good idea to engage a lawyer to assist.

• Phone consultations (up to 60 minutes) with a Sprintlaw lawyer who will advise you on the key legal requirements of the award and answer your questions about the award
