WHAT’S IT FOR?

Commercial leases create binding legal obligations between you and the landlord that may last for many years. If you are moving into a new premises, you’ll be required to negotiate and sign a commercial lease. Often this starts with agreeing on the Heads of Agreement/Letter of Offer. Making sure you understand and agree with these commercial terms of the lease will make the lease negotiation process much smoother.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We’ll review the Heads of Agreement/Letter of Offer for a commercial lease and advise you on your rights and obligations.

This package includes:

  • Reviewing the Heads of Agreement/Letter of Offer prepared by the landlord
  • A walkthrough of the review findings by a Sprintlaw lawyer, either via the phone or video call (up to 30 minutes) or in a video recording

Please note that this package does not include any formal written advice or any advice on the subsequent lease.

This package does not include any direct negotiations or correspondence with the counter-party or their lawyers, or reviewing any responses from the counter-party or their lawyers to the list of requested changes. If you need further negotiation support or additional rounds of review, we will provide a new quote scoped according to our Negotiation Support package. The scope also excludes assistance with execution or the obtaining of any approvals and any due diligence, and assumes that the transaction does not involve any employment, tax, accounting or other compliance issues.
