Sharon Choi is a designer at Sprintlaw. In 2020, she completed her double degree in science and laws at the University of New South Wales.

While working toward her degree, Sharon built her legal career in a private law practice and community legal centre. During this time she gained a strong interest in social justice, human rights, public policy and law reform. In order to explore these interests further, she contributed to multiple government policy submissions as part of the UNSW Law Society, Kingsford Legal Centre and NSW Young Lawyers Animal Committee.

In these experiences, Sharon found herself enjoying legal research much more than she ever expected herself to. She was determined to continue a career in making legal services and information more accessible for others.

In her final year at university, Sharon developed a particular passion in environmental law and eCommerce. She combined these interests and launched an online platform focused on raising awareness on the harmful environmental effects of the fashion industry. With her experience in running a one-woman business, as well as hearing the experiences of other small businesses in the industry, Sharon deeply empathises with the legal barriers faced by small businesses. Having been on both the legal and business side to the story, she is motivated to make legals easier for others.

Sharon manages the legal content on the Sprintlaw website and distributes it across our social channels, ensuring you’re up-to-date with the latest laws affecting your business. She has previously written for the Australian Human Rights Institute, and was Student Associate Editor for the Australian Journal of Human Rights.
