Your Sprintlaw membership includes:

There is no strict limit on the number of phone consultations, quick questions or free updates you can request. However, we do have a fair use policy in place, and our ability to respond to your requests depends on our legal team's capacity.

Once you become a member, you can access our call booking system through our Member portal. There, you can read each lawyer's bio and choose the right lawyer for your needs, whether it's contracts, capital raising, intellectual property, leasing, privacy or something else.

To book a call, simply select a 30-minute time slot in the lawyer's calendar and they will call you at the appointment time. If you need advice in an area your lawyer can't help with, they will reallocate your call to another lawyer in our team who can.

The Sprintlaw Membership includes free updates to documents prepared for you by Sprintlaw. We have a fair use policy in place, so minor changes are included, but significant redrafting of an agreement may be treated as a new project.

As a general rule, a Sprintlaw lawyer should be able to take your instructions and complete the updates within 30 minutes. Changes negotiated with another party are not included. If you need updates that are not covered as a free update, we will provide you with a discounted fixed-fee quote.

Example of a free update: there is a change in the Australian Consumer Law that requires updating the wording in a couple of clauses in your standard terms and conditions.

Example of a new project, which is not included as a free update: your terms and conditions currently cover selling products through your website, but you have now expanded your business and want to sell a range of services as well. This may require multiple new clauses to be added to your terms and conditions, or even a new agreement to be prepared.

As part of your membership, we can provide general advice on the areas of law we service, including technology law, intellectual property, contract drafting, privacy, and corporate and commercial law.

Some complex legal issues and regulations may fall outside the scope of our general membership. In these cases, we may provide you with a quote for an in-depth consultation with one of our specialist lawyers.

We do not advise on disputes, debt collection, personal legal matters such as wills, estates, personal injury, conveyancing or criminal law, regulatory advice, or employee issues. If we can't advise on your situation, we can refer you to another provider who can.

In addition to your phone consultations with a specialist business lawyer, your membership includes a 10% discount on any of our fixed-fee legal services. This means that if you need help with contracts, written advice or other legal services as part of your membership, we can assist at a discounted rate.
