Access legal benefits with Airtree membership

Your Sprintlaw membership includes:

• 30-minute phone consultations with Sprintlaw lawyers

There is no strict limit on the number of phone consultations, quick questions or free updates you can request. However, we do have a fair use policy in place, and our ability to respond to your requests depends on our legal team's capacity.

Once you become a member, you can access our call booking system through the Member Portal. There, you can read each lawyer’s bio and choose the right lawyer for your needs, whether it’s contracts, capital raising, intellectual property, leasing, privacy or something else.

To book a call, simply select a 30-minute time slot in the lawyer’s calendar and they’ll call you at the appointment time. If you need advice in an area your lawyer can’t help with, they’ll reallocate your call to another lawyer on our team who can.

Sprintlaw Membership includes free updates to documents prepared for you by Sprintlaw. We have a fair use policy, so minor changes are included, but significant redrafting may be treated as a new project.

As a general guide, a Sprintlaw lawyer should be able to take your instructions and complete the update within 30 minutes. Changes negotiated with another party are not included. If your update is not covered, we’ll provide a discounted fixed-fee quote.

Example of a free update: there is a change in the Australian Consumer Law that requires wording updates to a couple of clauses in your standard terms and conditions.

Example of a new project that is not included as a free update: your terms and conditions currently cover selling products through your website, but you have expanded your business and now want to sell services as well. This may require multiple new clauses or even a new agreement.

As part of your membership, we can provide general advice on the areas of law we service, including technology law, intellectual property, contract drafting, privacy, and corporate and commercial law.

Some complex legal issues and regulations may fall outside the scope of the general membership. In those cases, we may provide a quote for an in-depth consultation with one of our specialist lawyers.

We do not advise on disputes, debt collection, personal legal matters such as wills, estates, personal injury, conveyancing or criminal law, regulatory advice, or employee issues. If we can’t advise on your situation, we can refer you to another provider who can.

In addition to your phone consultations with a specialist business lawyer, your membership includes a 10% discount on our fixed-fee legal services. So if you need help with contracts, written advice or other legal services, we can assist at a discounted rate.
