WHAT’S IT FOR?
If you want to sell your individual franchise business, you’ll need a Franchise Sale Agreement. A Franchise Sale Agreement sets out the purchase amount, list of assets that are included in the sale, and provisions to reflect additional details of the deal that have been negotiated with the purchaser and franchisor. As a seller, it is important to ensure this agreement is drafted correctly, to confirm your rights to payment and ensure you are protected from from liability for issues that may occur with the business after the sale.
