WHAT’S IT FOR?

A Hire Purchase Agreement is an agreement under which a party hiring equipment (‘hiree’) agrees to pay the hirer fees over a set period, usually with fixed regular payments. Once the final payment is made, the ownership of the equipment will transfer to the hiree. The agreement includes a description of the relevant equipment, hire rate, interest charges and other rights and responsibilities of each party.
