New Representation (TM Headstart)

WHAT’S IT FOR?

When you apply for a trade mark through Trade Mark Headstart, sometimes IP Australia can provide an adverse initial report. This means it is unlikely your trade mark will succeed to full registration. At that point, you may decide to submit a new “trade mark representation”, which is a different version of your trade mark, to see if it has better chance of success.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We will apply for a new trade mark representation if your TM Headstart application is adverse, based on your instructions.

This package includes:

• Part 1 – Applying to IP Australia using TM Headstart for a new representation on your existing TM Headstart application (1 trade mark in 1 class)
• Additional new representations cost $300 + GST per class.

Note: If Part 1 is successful, we will apply to IP Australia for a 10-year trade mark registration according to the TM Headstart package that you have already purchased with us. No additional charges apply to the Part 2 application for the new representation.
