Articles by Luke Pigram
Luke Pigram is a content writer who collaborates with Sprintlaw to deliver informative content in a simple way.
Luke loves technology and is a big believer that anyone can achieve extraordinary things with the right technology tools and mindset, so much so that he created Luke’s Guide, a blog where he writes all about the latest software and technology tools available to help entrepreneurs take their business ideas to the next level.
While technology and entrepreneurship is his passion, Luke also has a day job as a Senior Associate in the Legal team at a Big 4 professional services firm.
Luke was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and has experience advising clients across a diverse range of complex legal matters (domestically and internationally) including private M&A, intellectual property, emerging technologies (e.g. drones and space activities), joint ventures, corporate governance, privacy and data protection.
During his almost 10 years in professional services, Luke has worked alongside some of the finest legal minds in Australia. Practising law in a global multi-disciplinary firm that operates differently from a traditional ‘law firm’ has allowed Luke to develop a unique perspective and commercial awareness that he can draw from when tackling tricky legal issues and, most importantly, communicating effective solutions to clients.
The intersection of technology and the law always throws up complex challenges for the business community and while Luke enjoys nothing more than the challenge of coming up with creative legal solutions for clients, he has always had the heart of a teacher and sees high quality online content as an effective way of educating the masses.
