Question

What is a Dry Hire Agreement?

Answer

A dry hire agreement sets out the details of an arrangement whereby someone hires out equipment to another party. If you're running a party business and you wish to offer party supplies or equipment for hire, then a Dry Hire Agreement can help protect your business and limit your liability.

In some cases, businesses may wish to make a little money by also including their own services in operating the equipment or machinery being hired - this is where you'd need a Wet Hire Agreement instead.
