Sprintlaw in 2022

When we started Sprintlaw back in 2017, we had a vision of bringing legal services online so that small businesses could get cheaper, more efficient support as they grow.  Fast forward to 2022: things have changed a lot. In the past five years, we’ve assisted with tens of thousands of business legal enquiries in Australia and the UK (and, as of this week, in New Zealand: more on that below!)  Being an online law firm has allowed us to assist our clients through the unexpected challenges of the past few years and reach business owners regardless of their geographical location. As a result, we’ve been able to work with such a wide variety of businesses-from startups that have become major players in their industries to passionate sole traders who’ve grown their side hustles into thriving businesses.  A big thanks to our clients, partners, advisors and everyone who’s been a part of the Sprintlaw journey this year. This, of course, includes our amazing team of Sprintlaw employees, who are driven by a genuine commitment to making legal services affordable and accessible.   2022 has been a huge year for us. Here’s what we got up to this year and what you can expect from us heading into 2023.

Our 2022 Highlights

We’ve achieved a lot this year, but here are some of the things we’re most proud of:
  • We expanded our team to 45 staff, working across 9 different countries
  • We helped with over 21,000 legal enquiries
  • We received over 125 5 Star Google Reviews
We also experienced great success at industry awards nights; it was an honour to be acknowledged for the hard work we’ve put into delivering legals in a new way. Here’s a rundown of what we were recognised for:

We Launched In New Zealand

In mid-2021, we expanded to England and Wales - identifying a strong appetite for affordable, online legal services in this market. Our launch attracted coverage from major media outlets, being announced in an exclusive feature in the AFR More than a year later, after experiencing unprecedented demand for our services, we expanded to New Zealand! We now have a team of Australian-qualified lawyers who are ready to extend expert legal help to NZ businesses via our brand new site: sprintlaw.co.nz “We’ve greatly enjoyed helping so many businesses grow in Australia and the UK, and we’re now excited to become part of NZ businesses’ journeys in 2023.” – Alex Solo, Sprintlaw co-founder

We Brought On More Expert Lawyers

If you’ve ever worked with a Sprintlaw lawyer, you’ll know they’re a pretty knowledgeable bunch (if we do say so ourselves). Well, some good news: we’ve brought on even more lawyers to assist with an increased range of legal services small businesses need.  In 2022, we expanded our expertise in areas like franchising, employment and capital raising-and will be expanding into even more new areas next year Importantly, our clients receive this top-level legal expertise at up to 70% cheaper and 5 times faster than traditional firms.  We started Sprintlaw with the view that small businesses shouldn’t get the short end of the stick when it comes to quality legal advice. Unfortunately, because of factors like price and accessibility, we saw this happening too often in the legal industry. Our fixed-fee, transparently-priced legal packages and legal memberships have fixed this problem for so many businesses, and it’s truly satisfying to see our mission being achieved!

Happy Holidays!

Sprintlaw will still be open during the holiday break. Our lawyers and legal consultants will be working as usual to assist with your legal projects over the next few weeks.  If you need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out on 1800 730 617, team@sprintlaw.com.au, or through our online enquiry form  We’ve got some epic plans for next year. Keep up with our 2023 adventures on  Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter From the whole Sprintlaw team: we wish you and your loved ones a very happy and relaxing holiday season. It’s been a pleasure working with you this year, and we look forward to achieving great things together in 2023!
